The Employer Helpcast website is a “one-stop” website for information to assist employers with those “day to day” questions related to their employees.
You might think that calling this website a “helpcast” doesn’t make much sense to you. Allow me to provide you a little background as to why this website was created.

This website is a work in progress. By that, I mean that it will constantly be changing. Makes sense, since every employer will agree that being an employer means facing constantly changing laws and regulations. As the laws change, this website will be updated. There is a section titled “Legislatively Speaking,” which will address new laws, regulation, and pending legislation that you may want to comment on. As new cases are decided, they will be added to this website, at the section titled “Courthouse News.” As I develop new and different insights from the cases I handle and the situations I see, they will also be posted, so I can share the information.

The response to the podcasts was overwhelming. Through viewer-ship and comments provided by listeners, it became clear to me that there is a real need for honest and quality employment law information and guidance for employers that is provided in plain english. So, to be able to provide more information in the form of current events, new case developments, handy hints, and the like, and with the coaxing of my trusted advisor, this Employer Helpcast website was born.
And, when you think about it, the name truly fits. A “broadcast” is the distribution of audio and/or video signals, which transmit programs to a “broad” audience. “Narrowcasting” is the same type of distribution to a narrow audience. Podcasting is utilizing new media to distribute audio and/or video files over the Internet for download to portable media players, like iPods. The Employer Helpcast is the distribution of helpful information to employers.
